THE INSECTS (Additional Music)

As songwriters and producers The Insects have collaborated with Massive Attack (notably KARMACOMA and EUROCHILD), worked with Tricky, Goldfrapp and Alison Moyet. They are also part of THE FLIES along with vocalist Sean Cook.

As film composers, 44 INCH CHEST is the third film they have scored featuring John Hurt. The previous two films featuring Hurt are OWNING MAHOWNY (opposite Phillip Seymour Hoffman) and Richard Kwietnowki’s LOVE AND DEATH ON LONG ISLAND.

They have also written music for the horror flick CREEP, the Bolex Brothers’ animation THE SECRET LIFE OF TOM THUMB and the dark romance XXXY (starring Mark Ruffalo).

They have provided the soundtrack for series WIRE IN THE BLOOD, PLACE OF EXECUTION and the National Geographic film LIFE AT THE EDGE, which won them an Emmy Music award.
